How Invisalign Works

First, you’ll meet with our dedicated dentist, Dr. Jordan, so he can complete a comprehensive oral exam and determine if you’re a good candidate for Invisalign. If you are, then he will create your custom treatment plan and have a series of aligners made to gently guide your teeth into their ideal places. You’ll wear each one in the series for 20-22 hours a day and for 1-2 weeks at a time. Then, every 6-8 weeks, you’ll return to our office so we can make sure you’re on track with your treatment plan.

Who Invisalign Can Help

As we mentioned above, you’ll need to meet with our Invisalign dentist in Carrollton to find out if you’re a good candidate for Invisalign. That said, this innovative orthodontic treatment has proven to be effective at correcting mild to moderate cases of the following:

Crowded Teeth

If there isn’t enough room in your mouth, your teeth will crowd together, rotating out of position in the process. If we determine that Invisalign is right for you during your consultation, then we will create a custom series to gradually guide your teeth into their ideal places.

Gaps Between Teeth

Of course, some patients visit us with the opposite problem: there is too much space in their mouth, resulting in noticeable gaps. If that’s the case for you, you’ll be happy to hear that Invisalign may still be an option. Plus, many patients achieve the results they desire in just 12-18 months!

Bite Alignment

In addition to being able to correct spacing and crowding issues, Invisalign can correct several common bite problems, including overbites, underbites, and crossbites. So, if you thought that traditional braces were your only option, think again!

The Benefits of Invisalign

  • The aligners are basically invisible when worn
  • There aren’t any dietary restrictions
  • Maintaining a healthy smile is easy
  • There are fewer check-in visits
  • The average treatment timeline is only 12-18 months

How Much Does Invisalign Cost?

Since there isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment plan, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all cost. That’s why it’s so important to schedule a consultation with us! Once we have an in-depth understanding of your dental history, needs, and goals, we can create your custom treatment plan and provide you with an estimate of the price. Then, we can discuss the different financial solutions that are available to help it fit comfortably within your budget.
